ACCON A Heating is supplied in rolls, 500mm or 540mm wide and up to 5600mm long. The heating film is unrolled and laid on top of the subfloor directly under the floor covering, which may be wood, laminate or PVC. As with all heated floor, it is important that there is a layer of insulation below the heating film to prevent heat loss from the back surface. Film is laid on a standard polyethylene foam and secured in place with tape and then, the floor covering may be laid. TENE RE Radiant Underfloor Heating is supplied as cable rolls, pre-sized or elastic (adjustable) mats. The heating mats are incorporated into the floor at the time of construction. Cable in roll or mat is set into wet concrete, secured in place with plastic pegs and then, covered by a level surface of concrete of 30 to 40mm. When the slab is dry the floor is completed. As with all floor heating, it is important that there is a layer of insulation below the heating mat to prevent heat loss from the back surface.
